Venturi 2006 : "Powered by Innovation"
Venturi Automobiles is very proud to present you the achievements of 2006, a year full of events !
After its first appearance of the year at the Ecologic Vehicles and Renewable Energies Show (EVER) in Monaco, the Venturi Fétish beared the Monegasque colours and proudly represented the Principality in April at Top Marques, the inevitable luxury Auto Show.
Within the context of the Monaco Grand Prix, Fétish runned on the track in May before going to Paris for the Challenge Bidendum in June, where it received the "Award of Design".
All the Venturi team tributed to Edouard Michelin, friend of the Venturi brand and more generally promotor of the environmental mobility.
Few days before, on May 30th, the "Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers" of Paris awarded the “2006 Best Innovation Practices” to Gildo PALLANCA PASTOR for his initiatives and his strong capacity of innovation in the transport field.
The last and most important step of the year for Venturi was to present in the Hall 1 of the Paris Motorshow its new range of innovative vehicles illustrating the brand slogan : “Powered by Innovation”.
By presenting « Eclectic », Venturi overthrowed again accepted ideas by inventing the “autonomous car” which taps the inexhaustible energy of the sun and wind.
At the same time, and with a headstart of almost 30 years, Venturi also presented in worldwide premiere the first electro-solar high-performance vehicle : “Astrolab“.
The muscle car « Venturi GT3 » and the « Venturi Fétish » in its final production version were also highlighted on Venturi’s 500 sqm stand.
Since the Motorshow, the press and the public have been showing a great interest in our approach and vehicles, and the coverage was extremely positive : more than 350 press articles, TV reports and radio interviews were made.
