World Speed Record Ratified by the FIA
The World Speed Record in the category of electric vehicles established by the Venturi Jamais Contente in August 24, 2010 on Bonneville Salt Flats, USA has been ratified by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile).
With an average speed of 495 km/h (307 mph), the Venturi Jamais Contente is now officially the fastest electric car in the world.
