Éric Besson, French Minister responsible for Industry, Energy and Digital Economy, held a round of talks on September 6, 2011 about electric and hybrid vehicles.
Éric Besson commended the efforts made so far and has announced the signing of a charter between vehicle manufacturers, equipment suppliers and the French government. The charter aims to promote the development and the use of electric vehicles as much to the companies as to individuals.
Gildo Pallanca Pastor, CEO of Venturi Automobiles, was present at this round of talks with in particular by Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault group, Philippe Varin, CEO of PSA Peugeot-Citroën, Vincent Bolloré, CEO of Bolloré group, Jean-Paul Bailly, CEO of La Poste group, Jacques Aschembroich, CEO of Valeo or Michèle Bellon, President of the executive board of ERDF.
