500 Citroën Berlingo First and Peugeot Partner Origin « Powered by Venturi » have been produced by the Venturi – MVE (Manufacture de Véhicules Electriques) facility.
MVE, located in Solesmes, France, is an assembly plant of 6,000 m² employing 30 people. The site is designed to be versatile and multi-brand, handling the assembly of both Venturi and Voxan vehicles as well as other brands. One of the first to specialise in electric vehicles, the Venturi assembly site is also one of the first automobile production plants to run 100% on renewable energies.
The assembly line for the Citroën Berlingo First and Peugeot Partner Origin "Powered by Venturi" has an output of 8 vehicles per day, ie. today's largest production of electric cars in France.
These vehicles, developed in partnership with PSA Peugeot Citroën, are commercialized in about 10 European countries by Peugeot and Citroën.
