The Autobleue service, launched by Nice Côte d’Azur on April 9, 2011 is celebrating today the 1,000th subscriber, reflecting the public’s enthusiasm to this new way of transportation.
It was also the occasion to present the new stations of the service. In addition to the 16 stations in operation, the offer is completed with 10 new stations.
Since it was launched, Nice Côte d’Azur is the first urban community in France to activate this Auto Sharing service in a large scale with electric vehicles only. At the end of 2012, 210 electric vehicles will be distributed among 70 stations on the territory of Nice Côte d’Azur.
Venturi, which supplies the fleet of “Auto Bleue” with Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Partners “Powered by Venturi”, was in the spotlight at this celebration with 2 vehicles exhibited on the Place Masséna in Nice.
