Venturi developments, combined with the Designer Sacha Lakic talent, have received many prizes : Good Design 2008, Time Magazine 2007 innovation, Challenge Bibendum Design prise 2007 and Michelin Challenge Design 2005.
The engineers of Venturi have a recognized expertise in electric vehicles architecture and in particular in the development of new generation chassis. Venturi has, for instance, developed the first chassis specifically adapted to the batteries integration issue.
To equip its range of vehicles, for each use, Venturi developed dedicated and performant power trains. Also, the battery packs are designed internally to fully match with power trains of each vehicle. The mass market vehicles are improved through technological advances obtained on extreme vehicles.
The "Manufacture de Véhicules Électriques" (MVE), located in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, is an assembly plant of 6,000 m² with production capacity of up to 5,000 vehicles per year.
Twenty-five jobs have been created so far, and about another ten employees will be recruited by the end of this year.
The site is designed to be versatile and multi-brand, handling the assembly of both Venturi and Voxan vehicles as well as other brands.
