The Venturi Volage at the Detroit NAIAS show – From January 11th to 24th, 2010

After the presentations of Fétish in Los Angeles in 2005, then of Eclectic and Astrolab in 2007 still in Los Angeles, Venturi is back in United States to present its concept car Volage.

As a result of a close technological collaboration between Venturi Automobiles and Michelin, the Venturi Volage is exhibited on Michelin’s booth in the NAIAS in Detroit (North American International Auto Show) which takes place from January 11th to 24th, 2010.

Equiped with the Michelin Active Wheel technology and presented for the first time at the “Mondial 2008” (Paris Motor Show), the Venturi Volage marks a major step forward in the evolution of the Automobile. The car has two electric motors per wheel (1 for suspension and 1 for drive), ie. a total of 8 electric motors piloted in real time by spearhead electronics.

All the radical changes brought by Volage, especially in terms of style and vehicle’s architecture, reinforce Venturi’s capability for constant innovation.
